¹⁶ Who were snatched away ^(A)before their time,
Whose ^(B)foundations were ^[a]washed away by a river?
¹⁷ They ^(C)said to God, ‘Depart from us!’
And ‘What can ^[b]the Almighty do to them?’
¹⁸ Yet He ^(D)filled their houses with good things,
But ^(E)the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
